Community Day is one of our favorite annual events — a chance for our community to come together in gratitude and connection while discovering more about the work we do through our equine-assisted programs. This year’s event will be bigger than ever, with live entertainment, fun activities for all ages, and special moments of recognition for those who serve our communities and our country.
Honoring Those Who Serve
At the heart of Community Day is our mission: to honor and support veterans, first responders, and their families. We’ll begin the afternoon with a Color Presentation by the Heart of Texas Cowgirls, followed by live music, introductions of local heroes, and opportunities to connect with community resource organizations dedicated to serving those who serve others.
A Full Day of Fun and Community
Whether you come for the music, the food, or the fellowship, there’s something for everyone at Community Day!
- Live Music from local artists
- Food Trucks with your favorite bites and treats
- Cornhole Tournament (with prizes!)
- Mechanical Bull Riding Contest
- Local Vendors and artisans
- Kids’ Zone featuring pony rides, face painting, horse art, and a bounce house
- Community Resource Tables sharing valuable services and connections
With between 350–500 guests expected, the day promises to be full of energy, laughter, and meaningful connections.
Why It Matters
Unbridled Equine Programs serves veterans, first responders, and at-risk youth through equine-assisted programs that help individuals discover their strengths, align their values, and find purpose. Research continues to show that a strong sense of purpose can dramatically improve mental well-being, reducing symptoms of depression, anxiety, and PTSD — especially among veterans.
