Bonnie grew up in a small town and spent her weekends and summers on her grandparents' farm. Her cousins, siblings, and she helped with the cattle, chickens, pigs, and gathering and putting up hay. She was fortunate to ride her grandfather’s horses and fell in love with their genuine personalities and loving nature.
Bonnie completed her Associate's Degree at a community college and enlisted in the Army. After four years, she completed Officer Candidate Training and served as a Logistics Officer for 24 years. Bonnie was stationed all over the world and discovered the joy of learning about other cultures and developing lifelong friendships. She served four combat tours and witnessed the effects of combat trauma, PTSD, and the lasting effects of being stationed in combat zones and being involved in combat. After 28 years, she retired as a Lieutenant Colonel and has devoted time to learning how to help her fellow Veterans overcome that trauma.
Bonne began riding again as she neared retirement, and now has her own horses in her life for the last 13 years. She enjoys having horses in her everyday activities, her spiritual development, and helping people see their emotional energy and makeup, and recognizing their potential to overcome their past.
Bonnie is Natural Lifemanship Equine Specialist qualified and trained in the Masterson Method Integrated Equine Performance Bodywork.
